The following is a military diet plan shopping list:

The Military Diet Plan Substitutions 

Even tough the military diet plan is of great significance, there are a couple of food items which should be taken as a substitute of the diet. The food will create lactose free, gluten free and the vegetarian version of the diet.

#1. Grape fruit substitute

Grape fruit might interfere with medication to some of the people. You can get the same military benefits of grapefruit by putting halfmilitary diet-tea spoon of baking soda in a glass of water and drinking it.

#2. Peanut butter substitute

If you don’t like butter, you can substitute it with the same amount of pumpkin butter, sunflower butter, soy butter, bean dip or hummus. Alternatively, you can use two table spoons of plain sunflower seeds.

#3. Bread substitute

Instead of eating bread, you can take: 1 cup of cereal grain, 1 cup of teaspoon of flax seeds, high protein bars and ¼ of cup of yoghurt.

#4. Coffee substitute

Apart from taking a regular cup of coffee, you can substitute it with green tea. Since Artificial sweeteners are not recommended, sugar free hot chocolate which contains small amount of caffeine is also recommended.

#5. Green bean substitute

If you don’t want to eat green beans for any reason, the same quantity of calorie can be substituted with: spinach, tomatoes or lettuce.

#6. Egg substitute

Substitutes of add boiled eggs include: one chicken wing, a cup of milk, two slices of bacon or ¼ cup of nuts.

#7. Apple substitute

You can try plums, grapes, dried apricots or peaches in place of apples.
